
ACRE Capital Real Estate has hired a living sector specialist as it makes a concerted drive into the asset class, React News can reveal.
Mike Butler, formerly an associate director in Colliers’ residential capital markets team, has joined ACRE to support the agents expansion into the living space.
Butler, who joins ACRE as an associate, has advised on some of the UK’s key residential transactions, such as Barings’ £215m joint venture with Socius in Bristol, Get Living’s £136m acquisition of Sherlock Street from Watkin Jones in Birmingham, and Grainger’s £63m forward funding of Mace and Doric Properties’ West Way Square in Oxford, the first ever BTR deal in Oxford.
