
James Attfield Joins From Lead UK Industrial and Logistics Role at Avison Young
ACRE Capital Real Estate has appointed James Attfield to head its Industrial Agency and Strategic Land team in a move intended to complement its leading investment business and provide a joined up comprehensive offer for funders, developers and occupier clients.
Attfield has over 25 years experience having previously led the Industrial & Logistics Occupier team at CBRE and was latterly Head of UK Industrial & Logistics at Avison Young. He has transacted over 20 million square feet on behalf of clients including DHL, Amazon, Next Plc, Siemens, L’Oréal, Aston Martin, Kuehne & Nagel, SEGRO, Roxhill and Newlands.
He is highly regarded in the market for his ability to unlock strategic sites throughout the UK with a track record that includes advising Roxhill/SEGRO on the acquisition and development of Rugby Gateway, a strategic 120 acre site located in the Golden Triangle of logistics. Rugby Gateway now comprises approximately 1.2 million square feet of prime logistics space let to occupiers such as Amazon, DHL, Hermes and H&M. On the occupier side he has advised Next on a 1.1 million square feet design and build scheme in Brookfields, and Siemens on the purchase of an 80 acre site in Goole on which it developed a rail-connected manufacturing facility servicing the production of London Underground trains for TFL.
