Specialist investment and development advisory firm ACRE Capital Real Estate has appointed senior agents Roddy Mackay and George Wilson to bolster its industrial offer.
Both men joing from CBRE where Mackay was a former Executive Director and Head of the UK Industrial and Logistics Investment team while Wilson was a Director within that team.
The two have a combined experience in excess of 25 years and have transacted approximately 5bn over 180 investment transactions.
The transactions have included both pre-let and speculative development funding, multi-let and single-let industrial investments, as well as portfolios.
They have also successfully created JV partnerships, most recently having assisted in the pairing of Prologis and Global Investment Partners to form UKLV, a build to hold logistics vehicle which will create a core portfolio of logistics assets in excess of 1bn.
Since joining ACRE Capital , the pair have completed the transaction of a last-mile, light industrial unit in Harlow for RO Group, and have advised on acquiring a distribution warehouse portfolio for 42.5m from Moorfield.
Both transactions occurred off market, continuing a theme at ACRE Capital Real Estate, where 47% of transactions have been completed in a similar vein, the group said.
