
ACRE Capital have advised Hines on the purchase of Dnata City, Heathrow, an ultra prime last mile distribution estate situated 14 miles from Central London and in close proximity to J14 of the M25 motorway.
The property comprises three modern last mile distribution units, constructed in 2013 and extending to a total area of 209,008 sq ft GIA. The units benefit from an excellent specification, including an eaves height of 10m – 11.55m, cross docked loading, 7 – 18 loading doors and a 50 kN/m2 floor loading. All three units are let to Dnata limited, a subsidiary company of the Emirates group, with an unexpired term of c.9.7 years.
Securing the investment was a great result for Hines as it offers a rare combination of secure income, modern specification and a core London location.
The property was purchased from Aberdeen Standard Investments for approximately £80,300,000.
